My mind is filled with memories of those days. My favorite memories are of my wife, who was my girlfriend back in the early 70's. She knew I liked pantyhose, and wore hose every single day during the four years we were in college together. Any time we were alone, she would slip off her shoes and put her stocking feet in my lap to massage to my heart's content. She sprayed a perfume called Tabu in her shoes, so her feet were never stinky - just warm leather and perfume scent. Now, in 2019, she has become a feminist, and pantyhose is scorned as a man's invention to control what women look like. Oh well. I still have the memories!
Women didn't talk about pantyhose back then, at least never while I was around to hear it. They might complain if they got a run in their hose and needed to get another pair. It was just something every girl wore every day, so there probably wasn't anything to say about it.
